The Principles of Economics
Ever thought that the principles of economics are a complicated maze of interwoven components understood only by economists? Now the common person can understand them too!
From the self-proclaimed "only" stand-up economist take a look at the video called "Mankiw's 10 Principles of Economics, Translated for the Uninitiated," by Yoran Bauman.
TradeKing and Zecco Are Merging
Last month, two popular online stock trading brokers agreed to merge their operations. and Zecco.com will create the sixth-largest online brokerage with some of the best, discounted trade commissions available along with the intention to create a far better trading experience for investors.
The low-cost commission rate will remain at $4.95 per trade. For options, the rate will be $4.95, plus $0.65 per options contract.
The merger is expected to be completed in one to two months and the brokerages will combine their resources to offer more services from a single platform.

Hot or Not?
Giant Interactive Group Inc. (GA)
GA (Giant Interactive Group, Inc) was an April stock pick and it set up in late March with a buy price of $5.25. The price bumped along between $5.20 to $5.60 before hitting its sell price at $5.15 on May 9th which was a loss of -1.96%.
This month there are no new long side recommendations because the markets are trending downward. It's best to wait to open any new long positions until the market shows signs of moving upward. While standing on the sidelines until the market perks up, there are some stocks I would watch and they are LPSN, ED and VHC.
